- "I highly recommend this tour especially if the Amazing Amaryllis is your guide! We want to say a HUGE thank you to Amaryllis for sharing her wealth of information and love of country. We spent over 6 hours with her and she didn’t miss a beat. This tour checks ALL the boxes. Her vast knowledge of Greek culture, history, mythology and gastronomy allowed us to immerse ourselves in all things Greek. We visited the Acropolis, Parthenon, Ancient Theatre of Dionysus with a break for traditional Greek coffee at a local cafe. We then walked to the Temple of Olympian Zeus and other historical sites and in-between we sampled local fare at the Central Market, the camel was delicious, who knew?? And wait until you try the Lukamades (think elevated munchkins), I could continue but I’d be wasting your time since you should be booking this tour ASAP. If you want a true education in Greek history and tradition look no further than the Acropolis Walk & Food Tour with Greek Travel Tellers…you can thank me later 😉."

We loved how our guide shared history, mythology, philosophy, and current cultural insight. The food was excellent. Highly recommend for a professional but fun tour."
